Overview

Kudu VFS Visualizer is a Chrome extension that converts Azure App Service Kudu VFS directory JSON responses into a readable file explorer table. The extension runs only on matching Kudu VFS pages: https://*.azurewebsites.net/vfs/*.

Data Collection

Kudu VFS Visualizer does not collect, sell, transmit, or share personal information. The extension does not send browsing data, file names, file contents, credentials, or Kudu VFS response data to any external server.

The extension reads the JSON directory listing that is already displayed in the current browser tab so it can render the visual explorer UI on that same page.

Local Storage

The extension stores one local preference: the selected table sort column and sort direction. This preference is stored using Chrome extension storage so the same sort choice can be applied when viewing another Kudu VFS directory.

This stored preference remains on your device and is not transmitted by the extension.

Permissions

• Host access to https://*.azurewebsites.net/vfs/*: used to read and replace Kudu VFS JSON directory pages with the visual explorer UI.
• storage permission: used only to remember the selected sort column and direction.

Third Parties

Kudu VFS Visualizer does not share data with third parties and does not include analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or remote telemetry.

This policy may be updated if the extension's behavior changes. Any future changes will be reflected on this page.
